About Me

My mission is to educate parents and the professionals who support them about the neuroscience of early parenthood—empowering families to understand the profound brain changes that occur after birth and use that insight to nurture strong, healthy bonds with their babies.

My Story

My journey into neuroscience began during my undergraduate studies, when I read The Brain That Changes Itself by Dr. Norman Doidge. I was fascinated by the concept of neuroplasticity - the brain’s ability to change through experience and learning - and knew I wanted to dedicate my life to understanding how the brain evolves.

For over ten years, I worked in academic research, studying how the brain changes across the lifespan. But it wasn’t until I became a mother that my understanding of neuroscience took on new meaning. I became deeply curious about the brain changes that happen during early parenthood - shifts designed to help you connect with your baby and respond to their needs with sensitivity and care.

You don’t just welcome a new baby — you experience a profound transformation yourself. Your brain adapts, grows, and reorganizes to support you in this life-changing role. Today, my mission is to help you understand that transformation and apply the science of the parental brain to support deeper connection, resilience, and confidence in early parenthood.
