My journey into neuroscience began during my undergraduate studies, when I read The Brain That Changes Itself by Dr. Norman Doidge. I was fascinated by the concept of neuroplasticity - the brain’s ability to change through experience and learning - and knew I wanted to dedicate my life to understanding how the brain evolves.
For over ten years, I worked in academic research, studying how the brain changes across the lifespan. But it wasn’t until I became a mother that my understanding of neuroscience took on new meaning. I became deeply curious about the brain changes that happen during early parenthood - shifts designed to help you connect with your baby and respond to their needs with sensitivity and care.
You don’t just welcome a new baby — you experience a profound transformation yourself. Your brain adapts, grows, and reorganizes to support you in this life-changing role. Today, my mission is to help you understand that transformation and apply the science of the parental brain to support deeper connection, resilience, and confidence in early parenthood.
